1. Star and Tier Structure
Heroes progress through 5 star levels (★ to ★★★★★), and each star has 6 tiers. Total progression: Not Started → 1★ Tier 1 → ... → 5★ Tier 6. Each combination requires a specific number of shards.
2. Tier-Based Shard Costs
Each tier within a star level requires different shard amounts:
1★: 1-2 shards per tier | 2★: 5-10 shards per tier 3★: 15-25 shards per tier | 4★: 40-60 shards per tier 5★: 90-110 shards per tierHigher stars require exponentially more shards per tier upgrade.
3. Cumulative Calculation
The calculator sums all shard requirements from your current position to your target. If you're at 3★ Tier 4 and want to reach 4★ Tier 2, we add shards for 3★ Tier 5, 3★ Tier 6, 4★ Tier 1, and 4★ Tier 2.
4. Current Shard Deduction
When you enter your current General Hero Shard count, the calculator subtracts this from the total requirement to show exactly how many more shards you need to farm or obtain.

Choose Current Tier
If your hero has at least 1 star, select the current tier (1-6) within that star level. Check your hero details in-game to see the exact tier progress bar.
Set Target Star Level
Select the star level you want to reach (1★ to 5★). Higher stars provide significantly better hero stats and unlock powerful abilities.
Choose Target Tier
Select the tier within your target star level (1-6). Each tier provides incremental stat boosts. Tier 6 is the maximum for each star level.
Enter Current Shards (Optional)

A: Main sources include: Hero summoning events, converting excess hero-specific shards (10:1 ratio), alliance shop, event milestones, special bundles, and VIP rewards. Participate in every hero event to maximize collection.
Q: What's the difference between stars and tiers?
A: Stars (★ to ★★★★★) are the major progression levels, each unlocking significant stat boosts and abilities. Tiers (1-6) are subdivisions within each star, providing incremental improvements. You must complete all 6 tiers to advance to the next star.
Q: How many shards does it take to max a hero completely?
