Pets in Kingshot require various materials to level up and advance through tiers. Different rarities have different maximum levels:
- Grey Pets: Max Level 50
- Green Pets: Max Level 60
- Blue Pets: Max Level 70
- Purple Pets: Max Level 80
- Legendary Pets: Max Level 100
Advancement materials (Growth Manual, Nutrient Potion, Promotion Medallion) are required at specific milestone levels (10, 20, 30, etc.) to unlock the next tier.

1. Rarity-Based Level Caps
Each pet rarity has a maximum level: Grey (50), Green (60), Blue (70), Purple (80), Legendary (100). The calculator validates your target level against these caps and adjusts material calculations accordingly.
2. Progressive Material Scaling
Material requirements increase with each level. Pet Food scales linearly, while advancement materials (Growth Manual, Nutrient Potion, Promotion Medallion) are needed at tier breakpoints:
Tier Breakpoints: Levels 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100Higher levels require more advancement materials per breakpoint.
3. Cumulative Material Sum
The calculator adds up Pet Food for every level in your range, plus all advancement materials needed at tier breakpoints. If upgrading from level 15 to 35, we sum food for levels 16-35 and advancement materials for the level 20 and 30 breakpoints.
4. Current Inventory Deduction
When you enable "I have materials" and input your current counts, the calculator subtracts these from total requirements, showing exactly how many more materials you need to farm.
5. Rarity-Specific Formulas
Higher rarity pets require more materials per level and tier. Legendary pets are significantly more expensive to max than Grey pets. Our formulas account for all rarity-specific scaling factors.
